From start to finish, Laura shepherded me through the process with expertise, a great network and great experience. She has an easygoing manner, but it was very clearly she worked hard, and strategically, throughout the process, and was paying attention to details -- and had the experience to be aware of the details involved. She always made sure she was proceeding in a way that worked for me, and she was key in reaching a successful outcome. Laura helped clarify at the beginning the level of detail at which I wanted to be involved in the selling process, and she adjusted her role accordingly. In areas where I was less familiar or didn't want to be so deeply involved, she either stepped in directly or brought in her network to provide great support -- e.g., in staging the apartment, arranging for inspections, repainting and handling minor repairs. She was an excellent guide for the torrent of disclosure forms and other documents that need to be completed. And she was a solid communicator across the board. Laura provided me with a realistic initial assessment of the market, and she updated that assessment regularly as necessary. This helped set my expectations about the process and the likely price range I could expect, and those expectations were met. I would gladly work with Laura again.
I’ve now worked with Laura to both purchase & sell property and I can only say great things! After a couple dead-ends with other realtors, I met Laura at an open house & we just “clicked.” I don’t think that’s how most people find their realtor, but I followed my gut & so glad I did. She is open and honest with everything and manages to hit the right balance when communicating - pragmatic advice and emotional support! When helping me ready my property for sale, she provided just the right level of help. I wanted to be involved in the whole process to learn some things. And she swept in with great contacts, advice on materials, etc. She also patiently dealt with my time constraints of juggling the renovation project, a demanding full-time job, and mom to two little kids. She must have been annoyed by my crazy schedule, but never let it show! It was a great experience!

We had a great experience with Laura Rogers and John Farnham, twice (and they already came highly recommended). We sold a modern flat in NOPA prior to moving out of the country for a bit, then bought the sweetest home in the Excelsior when we moved back. In both cases, we were out of the country for a good part of the transaction. Everything was as smooth as can be, both times! Some of the things I appreciated most: Responsiveness -- Laura was always quick to respond to any request. To this day, Laura helps me with questions about homeownership, the property, vendors for home maintenance, etc. Professionalism -- Laura and John have always treated us and any other parties with complete respect. Relationships and relationship building -- Laura and John are clearly well-connected, and I have no doubt that their relationships helped us get our #1 choice. They also helped us gracefully exit a TIC. Their relationships with lenders, contractors, etc. help us ease into our new home with less stress and ambiguity than expected.
