We first met Laura in 2019, when she helped us sell our house in Buda. Laura gave us a plan to get the house ready, explained all the paperwork and walked us through to a sale in less than a week. Then in 2022, Laura worked with my son and daughter-in-law and helped them buy their first house. Now, in 2024, Laura once again helped us buy this house in Burnet. She walked us through all the paperwork, paired us with a great mortgage broker and home inspector. Laura also helped us through all the negotiations with the sellers. Laura really does care about her clients and wants to make this very stressful time as easy as possible. In today’s world it hard to be trusting, but we have never questioned Laura’s trustworthiness. We began working with Laura after working with 2 previous realtors. Laura went above and beyond. She is incredibly kind and easy to work with. Unlike our other experiences she hunted to find homes that would check our boxes. Ultimately after 3 years in searching for homes we submitted an offer within 3 weeks of working with her and closed in the next month. She listened to our concerns and followed through! Laura was able to help get the builders initial price reduced which was very helpful! During the actual build our schedules conflicted some. Therefore she was not able to make all the appts needed. She did however attend the construction meeting, part of the 1st of 3 inspections and the 2nd walkthrough. During the construction there were some issues that came up. I ended up escalating this on my own and my concerns were addressed by the builder. Laura did not play a part in this. During the final walk she did point a couple of things that had not been noticed on the first walkthrough. This was helpful and appreciated. Laura is a very positive person. This is overall very refreshing and needed in today's world. However there are times where I felt being more critical would of been helpful in getting some things addressed. Water is good for us but even too much of it can be harmful.
Laura made the selling process as stress-free as possible. She guided and directed us with all the offers. She was very attentive to our needs. We highly recommend Laura for any of your real estate needs!
When we decided to list our property in early 2023, Housing prices were high and sales times were in days or weeks. Our house was built in 1984 and portions of the house were somewhat dated. Laura and Amanda provided some help/guidance for areas of improvement to maximize/boost the property value, which was very helpful, as we knew our property would need some remodeling, which took time. During this time, the housing market went into decline and the house entered the market in Sept 2023 after a significant remodel. Therefore, we entered the market when there was some instability in the market caused by the rising interest rates. Our property was somewhat unique, as there was a good portion of land involved, thus for house sales in the area, it was priced at a higher price point because of the land values. Once mortgage rates stabilized and sales started moving again, we did get multiple showings and multiple offers. We worked together with Laura/Amanda evaluating the offers and had regular discussions on property pricing, options, offers, price negotiation, the current market trends, etc. In the end, I believe that Laura/Amanda found the right buyer for our property. We were able to sell the property to a buyer at a price point that we needed and the buyer was able to acquire a property that he could turn into his dream property. I really do believe this ended up being a win-win situation for both parties.
It was definitely an experience to sell our home during this high interest rate market, but Laura and Amanda put in the effort necessary to get our property SOLD! We so appreciate their assistance in helping us to achieve our goal to move closer to family!
