I have experience that sets me apart from many other Realtors. As a former licensed general contractor / whole-home renovator, I help buyers to take a critical look at homes toured, beyond cosmetics. As a former business manager in the financial world, I have a strong background with contracts, negotiations & marketing. My areas of expertise include: Helping seniors / families in their transition from a long-time home. I have earned the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation from the National Association of Realtors. Helping my own mother through this journey became a catalyst for me in developing this specialty. I am compassionate and patient in my approach. I am experienced in helping sellers involving: 1. a move to a senior residence, including referrals to organizations for everything from placement in a residence to high-touch movers who will even hang photos in the new residence. 2. a move to be near / with family or to a warmer climate 3. downsizing / a move to one-level living for aging in place 4. working with those granted Power of Attorney 5. working with the Personal Representative of an estate. Helping home sellers through the decision-making process regarding if they wish to do some work to a home before listing and, if so: Provide advice on where the biggest "bang for the buck" lies Provide advice on highly popular finish choices that will appeal to most buyers Provide referrals to sources of materials and service Helping home buyers to look past just the cosmetics of a home, looking also at the visible condition of structural and mechanical components.
