Laura was a god's send in the 11th hour, when we were almost tied to having to pay on two mortgages at the same time. We began building a new home in early spring of 2006, and in that summer we began the process of trying to sell the home we were living in while building the new house. We had our house up for sale by owner for three months with no luck, then we listed with a different agent for 60 days. This was also a fail. We had some offers, but could not even come close to a sale because of the gap in ask $/offer $.
