Selling a home can be an overwhelming, daunting task. It is nerve-wracking, with countless logistical decisions to make in regards to packing, moving, what to keep, what to discard, and, obviously, preparing to get the house up for sale. Additionally, selling the house for what you think is a fair price, discarding emotions and aiming to be as objective as possible regarding a structure that is essentially an extension of oneself, also adds to the stress. Doing so while living approximately 1,700 miles away is all of this times 10. I knew I was going to choose Lance Thibault even before we signed a contract. He was driven yet not burdensome, offering suggestions and making things happen even before I actually met him in person. Most of our collaboration was done through texts and phone calls, with only about three or four face-to-face meetings. I say “collaboration” because that’s what it was.
