My husband and I came over on Memorial Day to look at homes in and around the Tyler area. Knowing it was a holiday we did not know if anyone would be able to assist us. When we called on a particular house that was listed with Keller Williams, Lacy Turner showed up and showed us the home. We really liked that home but did not move fast enough and someone made an offer the next morning. That did not deter Lacy as she began pulling up more homes and I returned the following weekend and we looked at several and decided to make an offer on the one that we just bought . Here are some of our reasons: Perhaps highest on the list is that she was extremely proactive in looking out for us. By this I mean we felt that at all times she gave our interests priority. We felt that we were not "just another client"- but that we really mattered. Lacy does not leave you waiting for responses or wondering where she is. Rather she is seriously making things happen on your behalf. For example- if we called or texted with an issue- her response was almost immediate. We started working with Lacy to find a home in Tyler in April 2022. This was a time of a very active housing market in Tyler- with a shortage of homes and high prices. Lacy was able to show us homes at very short notice to fit in with our schedule- there was never a sense of "maybe....sometime." Rather, we got to view houses to fit our schedule. We appreciated her thoughts on particular homes and her ability to bounce ideas with us. After around 6 viewings we decided on a particular home in late April. Lacy partnered with our lender in processing all documents for the sale. This was so very helpful. In our particular situation, there were technical problems on the seller's side that were totally beyond our control. This resulted in a serious delay in closing. In the the midst of this Lacy did everything in her power to move things along. She amazed us with her enthusiasm to make things happen. What an encouragement this was to us! We will just say in closing that Lacy is just really pleasant to work with. She is respectful and kind at all times and... she is really fun to be around! I know that hardly sounds "professional" from our end- but the reality is that we all need that human touch to share a good laugh somewhere in the process of buying a house.
