About Kim

Kim Rafferty has been a real estate agent since 2004 and joined Rêve Realtors in 2019. Her personal and professional slogan sums up the philosophy of someone with cultural awareness and years of international living: “I traveled all over the world to find New Orleans!” Kim loves working with both buyers and sellers but especially enjoys helping those moving to New Orleans; after relocating many times herself, she has an in-depth understanding of the challenges faced. Her focus areas include Uptown, Garden District, Irish Channel, Marigny, Bywater, and Lakeview. Raised on the Mediterranean island of Malta by an English mother who was involved in real estate gave Kim a great understanding of the business. After buying her first piece of property at age 25, she was hooked on the idea of real estate as an investment. Her passion comes from bringing all parts of the real estate puzzle together and delivering great outcomes for her clients. Known as knowledgeable, experienced and energetic, 95% of Kim’s business comes from referrals or repeat clients who appreciate her responsiveness and negotiating skills. She prides herself on the fact that her connections with her clients don't end on closing day but continue on for years. Kim understands Maltese and is familiar with Spanish and Arabic. She has walked over 180 miles in the fight against breast cancer and raised over $17,000 for Susan G. Komen. When not working, she loves to travel, whether it’s hiking in Patagonia, kayaking in the sea caves of the California Channel Islands, or embracing new cultures and cuisines around the world.
