As I was looking for a place in Laguna Woods, I met many realtors at the open houses I was visiting. I was informally interviewing them to see which one impressed me the most. When I met Kevin, I spent a good deal of time talking to him about his knowledge of Laguna Woods and he really seemed to know everything about it from the dues to the rules to the processes involved in doing any kind of renovations, to the pools and many other things! He gave me some handouts to take home and told me he is the number 1 buyers agent. That stuck in my head and when I finally decided I needed to sign with someone, he was my first choice. I was getting to the point where I needed to find something within a month as I had just sold the home I was living in and needed to get out by a specific date. He went to work immediately and found me quite a few homes to take a look at. He listened to what I wanted and more importantly, what I DIDN'T want in a new home. Many of the other realtors I met didn't seem to listen to me and would suggest properties that weren't "checking all of my boxes". The day my house came on the market, Kevin was all over it and called to say we have to go look at this house TODAY! All I had to do was walk inside and I knew this was the house for me! We made an offer within hours and convinced the owner not to hold the open house that she had scheduled for the coming weekend. She accepted the offer immediately and the rest is history.
