We knew of Kevin's great reputation because he had sold other houses in our neighborhood, some for significantly over the asking price. We wanted the same kind of service when we decided to sell our home of 26 years. We were a little nervous that we were selling in late summer rather than the more traditional spring, but he reassured us that he could deliver a good offer. During his initial presentation he was enthusiastic and had a great game plan. He gave us excellent tips, told us where we needed to spend money to fix things up and where we didn't, and gave us pointers on how to stage the home and yard. Kevin delivered an offer over our asking price the first weekend after listing the property. Kevin was an excellent partner through the whole process of selling our house. With two young kids, we had a lot of toys and clutter in every room. Kevin coached us on how to declutter to get the house looking its best. Our house sold the first weekend for more than I expected. Since we are in the process of building our next house, we were just about to sign a lease on a rental when Kevin noticed that the buyer wasn't going to use the house as their primary residence and reached out to them to ask if they would let us rent our house back while our new place is being built. I don't give a lot of five star reviews, but Kevin deserves every star--and more. He was incredibly responsive. We never had to wait more than a few minutes to get an email or text message in response to our many questions. He kept us informed each step of the way and made us feel comfortable and confident during the entire process. Kevin also has extensive knowledge of the DC market, and made us feel like we were in "good hands" while making a major life decision. Kevin also got results: within three days of listing our house for sale, we received six offers, all at or above asking price.
