I was initially charmed by Kerri Jones’ mailers which I thought were both fun and creative and showed the Camano Island lifestyle in a very positive light. When I first reached out to Ms. Jones in July of 2021, her response was immediate. She quickly created a 40 plus page Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) with a suggested list price range. After review of the CMA, I told Ms. Jones that I wasn’t quite ready to list my home for sale. Instead of feeling pressured to do so, she was extremely understanding. She continued to check in with me on occasion to see where I was at. In late March of this year (2022), several homes in my neighborhood had sold for much more than their asking price. I contacted Ms. Jones and told her that I was now ready to act. From that point on, Ms. Jones was amazing! She met with me and we went over each part of the listing agreement paperwork and she addressed my questions and concerns. She suggested a number of local service providers to do work on my home that I though should be done. She hired a first-rate photographer (Colin McEvoy) who took interior, exterior and even aerial drone shots! She respectively listened to what I thought would be the correct listing price and provided her insight to the pluses and minuses of that figure. My home went on the market on a Thursday (4/28). Ms. Jones arranged for multiple showings over the next 5 days, always reminding me that she was “my agent” and was looking out for my best interests… and she did. On Tuesday (5/3), she called and emailed me a spreadsheet that detailed each of the four offers. We discussed them all and I chose the buyer who would allow me the flexibility I needed to move out my home with the least amount of stress. That offer was also $60,000 over the asking price. To reiterate, my experience with Kerri Jones was amazing and I highly recommend her as a listing agent. Sincerely, Gail Schmitz
