Kerri did a great job selling our property on Camano Island. She presents a clear step by step process from getting the house ready with all the inspections, repairs and staging that it needs, as well as helping us navigate the sale and closing. Also, she is very responsive to any questions or concerns, seemingly always available by phone, email, or text. We really had a flawless experience and got the house sold! For three years we looked all throughout the Pacific Northwest, trying to determine the best location to retire to. We tested the patience of many realtors, and given our being from out of the area, our impromptu travel plans often exasperated some. That was never the case with Kerri. When she had a conflict, she always seemed to find an alternate time that worked. When we were able to connect, Kerri always made sure that we had the right information to maximize our time in the area. Being four hours away, this became a really important aspect of Kerri's customer service. If new offerings matching our requirements came on the market, we always knew about them, while at the same time not being distracted by the vast number of listings which really weren't worth our limited time. As impressive as the above aspects of Kerri's support and performance were, the truly best part came when it was time to finally make an offer on the home we ultimately purchased. After several visits to the property, Kerri's understanding of the Camano Island housing market led to what we felt was a very competitive offer on the property. Unfortunately, as you might expect, the seller's and their agent seemingly were out of touch with the realities of the local market as they were from a different region of the state. This led to a number of counter offers, which Kerri managed with an amazing amount of patience, and data. When it seemed that we would need to walk away from the property, Kerri realizing that we were at an impasse, took it upon herself to suggest a plan for taking one final run at the sellers. Kerri worked with the seller's agent, gaining the agent's agreement, which led to a compromise which the seller's could accept. After three years of looking, we were VERY fortunately to have Kerri on our side, working to secure what will be the final home we purchase. It's very comforting to know that Kerri lives on the island, which means we have at least one friend.
We started our original home selling journey in 2022 just as the housing market was changing from the craziness of the Covid years.
