Cannot imagine a more effective, pleasant, helpful and responsive agent. Kelly is an absolute professional that helped us find our dream home and made the offer, contingency, and close process painless and stress free. Honestly can't imagine buying or selling a home without her from here on out.
We recently sold our home with Knight Real Estate Group, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, they demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and dedication. Kelly and Gabe guided us through every step of the process, from pricing our home competitively to staging and marketing it effectively. Their communication was excellent—they kept us informed, answered all our questions, and provided valuable insights that made the entire process well organized and managable. Thanks to their hard work and negotiation skills, we sold our home quickly at a great price. We truly appreciate their commitment to excellence and would highly recommend Knight Real Estate Group to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. — Kim and Woodie Clark
We are very appreciative of the wonderful partnership that we had from Kelly, Gabe and team thoughout our home purchase process. After we identified a property that we were seriously interested in, Kelly and Gabe were very proactive in gathering as much information about the property as quickly as possible to help us make an informed decision. Once we decided to make an offer Kelly and team provided strategic support that helped us come out with the house we wanted in a very competitive multiple offer situation. After our offer was accepted Kelly and Gabe teamed up to make sure we had multiple recommendations for vendors that would support home improvements we were interested in, as well as supporting us on a daily basis through the escrow process. And aside from the excellent market knowledge and experience that Kelly offers, the team is very pleasant and fun to work with. We feel we made a great choice in working with Kelly and Gabe!
We recently bought a home in Santa Barbara, and we worked with Gabe Grandcolas and Kelly Knight for a few months before making this purchase. We had a very positive experience working with Gabe and Kelly, and we would highly recommend both of them to any friends or family looking to find a great realtor in the area. Our primary residence is a few hours out of the area, so Gabe and Kelly did a great job at keeping us up to date about homes on the market that fit the criteria for a home we were looking for. In no way were they pushy with us to buy anything. Instead, Gabe would just keep telling us that they would continue to look for what we wanted because they wanted us to find a home that we were completely happy with. We are happy to say that we did find a home that fit what we were looking for perfectly. When it came time to buy we bought sight unseen based on their expert knowledge and recommendations, and we were not disappointed when we saw this home in person. Throughout the process Gabe went above and beyond to communicate information to us, and when we had questions about anything he was very prompt in getting an answer to us. Gabe and Kelly also advocated for us in the purchase of the home, so we felt we had realtors who were working hard for us and really cared about us being satisfied with the final outcome of the sale. Thank you Gabe and Kelly for all that your outstanding work in helping us find just the right home in a competitive market. We are very grateful to you both.
Kelly Knight helped with the sale of my family home growing up, following my Mom’s passing. Her compassion, experience, support and top notch service was truly unbelievable. She made the process of the sale feel like a partnership, but in truth, it never could have happened without her. She is experienced, skilled, has superior communication skills and is a true asset to our community.
Over some 50 years I have had occasion to buy or sell real estate in Santa Barbara six times, with several different realtors. Only in the most recent occasion (late summer, 2024) have I felt truly confident in the realtor’s performance. Agents with Berkshire-Hathaway sometimes work in teams of two individuals. The team of Kelly Knight and Gabe Grandcolas was recommended to me by one of their earlier clients. There are clear advantages in having a two-person team with significant experience. In addition, Kelly is a highly regarded attorney of some twenty years. Unlike my previous experience, the duo strongly recommended we not just put the house on the market, but that I take serious steps to prepare the home for sale. From their experience they knew what to recommend. At little expense to me they patched small interior imperfections, tidied the landscape, painted the exterior to be more appealing to visitors, and arranged interior staging, employing professionals with whom they have worked for many years. They kept constantly in touch with me, which made me comfortable leaving everything up to them. The local and nation-wide connections available at B-H exposed the home to a huge audience. It received three offers in a week or so. We sold to a local couple. My experience makes me confident in recommending Gabe and Kelly for real estate needs.
Every detail professionally handled. It was like watching "specialty" cooks juggling in a kitchen...involving a LOT of work behind the scenes. The final product was delicious!
Your expertise in the market, attention to detail, and guidance throughout the process were invaluable.
Gabe Grandcolas and Kelly Knight's deep knowledge of the Santa Barbara market, combined with their unwavering commitment to client satisfaction, sets them apart in the competitive world of real estate. Gabe and Kelly demonstrated an impressive understanding of recent trends and property values in the Santa Barbara area. Their expertise allowed me to make informed decisions throughout the selling process. What truly stood out was their round-the-clock availability. Whether day or night, I could reach out to them with questions or concerns, knowing I'd receive a prompt, friendly and helpful response. Throughout the entire process, Gabe and Kelly provided clear explanations, ensuring I understood each step. Their ability to break down complex real estate concepts into easily digestible information was invaluable. Gabe, in particular, was a strong advocate for our interests. His friendly demeanor and professionalism made him a joy to work with, while his understanding of our unique needs ensured that our requirements were always at the forefront. Their extensive network of contractors proved to be a significant asset. The professionals recommended provided quality work at fair prices, transforming our property into a beautiful home both inside and out. This attention to detail and commitment to quality significantly enhanced the value of our investment. Perhaps most importantly, Gabe made the often stressful process of selling a home feel relaxed and manageable. Their market knowledge, communication skills, and dedication to client satisfaction make them an outstanding choice for anyone looking to navigate the Santa Barbara real estate market.
Kelly and Gabe were a joy to work with - they provided expert guidance and industry knowledge throughout our home buying process, and made it possible to us to close on the perfect home for us. We could not recommend them more highly!
Kelly has sold two local rental properties for me in the past two years. She provided great advice and her background as an attorney is especially valuable.
Kelly is incredible! She helped us buy the perfect home for us at the perfect time. Our experience with Kelly was exceptional because she gave us great advice at critical moments in the process that allowed us to compete for a duplex against developers with deeper pockets. She also made her considerable network available to us to navigate the inspections and repairs needed. But perhaps most importantly, during the process Kelly went from stranger to a good friend who we consider part of our extended Santa Barbara family! Kelly is such a pro and we're so grateful we met her. We feel certain we would not have found such an ideal home with any other agent. Kelly has our highest recommendation!
