Kayla, niece of Cindy Petit, is a proud native of Transylvania County and deeply rooted in the Western North Carolina mountains she calls home. She lives in Rosman with her husband, Devin, and their two children, Ellie and Jaxon. After spending several years in Charleston, South Carolina, Kayla ultimately returned to the region she loves, first purchasing a home in Hendersonville before building her forever home just steps from where she was raised.
A graduate of Rosman High School, Kayla continued her education at Blue Ridge Community College and went on to build a successful career in luxury hospitality. With over 18 years of experience working within some of the most prestigious communities in Western North Carolina and South Carolina, she developed a strong reputation for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences. Much of her career has been spent in elite country club environments as an Event Planner, where attention to detail, relationship building, and a commitment to excellence were essential. She currently serves as the Clubhouse Director of a premier luxury motorcoach resort in Lake Toxaway.
Kayla’s appreciation for thoughtfully designed communities began early in life. She grew up watching her father and grandfather help shape the landscape of Western North Carolina through the development of communities, golf courses, and infrastructure across Transylvania, Jackson, Henderson, and Polk Counties. Their work instilled in her a deep respect for the land and the communities that make this region so special.
After completing her real estate training at the Cumbie & Trull School of Real Estate, Kayla is excited to bring her hospitality expertise, local insight, and passion for the mountains into the real estate world. She is dedicated to providing a refined, personalized experience for clients looking to buy or sell in Western North Carolina’s most beautiful communities.
