Katie Clancy and her team at The Cape House are the best! Across the entire multi-faceted range and quite efficient length of the process of selling our parents' home, Katie has been warm, adept, savvy, clear, caring, skillful, gracious, thorough, responsive and a total delight. We have been well advised in the decisions that naturally fall to us, and we have felt confidence, gratitude and relief for all the tasks that The Cape House has handled professionally and positively. I only wish I had another house to sell, so we could keep this grand collaboration going.

In the last 10 years, Katie has guided our family through the sale of two Cape homes (one in Brewster, one in East Dennis). Both sales were bittersweet for us (who wants to part with a Cape Cod home?!?), but the second - an estate sale - was extremely challenging with emotions running high for siblings. In both home sales, Katie was phenomenal. Not only does she have MANY years of experience in the local real estate industry, but she is also brilliant -- gifted as a writer, marketer, and negotiator (and much more - have you seen her work out or heard her sing?) Katie has a rare combination of emotional intelligence and interpersonal intelligence that creates peace and confidence on both sides of the seller/buyer equation. Her strategy with both home sales was perfect in preparation, timing, and pricing. We admire and thank Katie Clancy from the bottom of our hearts.

The Cape house team was extremely helpful getting our parent’s house on the market quickly- in about a month. They helped my brother and I to make decisions about what to repair and what to update for the cape market and even helped us with design decisions about carpet and bath renovations. I’m a bit of a DIY person, but I do hire professionals when needed. This was one of those times. They put us in touch with local contractors including cleaners, consignment shops, antiques auctioneers, junk removers, plumbers and a real estate attorney opened the house for them to work when we were not at home, They did an excellent job with the open house and staging. Since we live off cape, it was extremely valuable to have a local team who could step in. I loved that they have construction expertise which served as a “backup plan” if the contractors we hired or my efforts didn’t work out. I wish them all the best and strongly recommend them.
