A quick little bit about me! I grew up outside of Philadelphia in horse country Chester County. In 1994 I was given the opportunity to spend the winter in Southern Pines while I was trying out for the United States Equestrian Team for Combined Driving. I admit I really liked the area where I grew up & still do, but I fell in love with Moore County that winter and it’s had a piece of my heart ever since! Fast forward – a few years later, I met my husband here in town and he is now the Deputy Chief of the Southern Pines Fire Dept (ironically he also grew up in Pennsylvania & was also very involved with horses & horses is how we met!) For the past 20+ years we have enjoyed living here and raising our 2 children in this great community! Our teen daughter shares our love of horses and she rides & shows hunters & jumpers. Our son has graduated from high school and he has a passion for lacrosse & was selected to represent USA in Portugal in the summer of 2019 as a Goalie. This spring he will be heading out another brand new adventure as he sets “sail” towards another passion of his – becoming a Navy Sailor!
