Kat Laxague provided the best possible experience with selling my house. She went out of her way to make sure I understood each part of the process and made me feel like she had my back at every step. She went beyond what I expected a realtor to do-from disposing of my furniture to keeping me informed at every move. She was totally professional and became a dear friend. I always felt that she knew what the next move should be and presented my house in the best light possible. I would recommend her with absolutely no reservations. She is a person you want in your corner!

My dad unexpectedly passed away in July of 2025. I am the oldest of 5 children that he left behind and I am only 20 years old. He was not married at the time of his passing and had no end of life affairs in order because of his sudden death. I was left in charge of everything. I am also currently engaged and getting married this coming June. Because I am still a full-time college student, I work part-time, and I am planning our wedding; selling my Dad's house and our childhood home was something I was truly dreading. We had to have an Estate Auction for most of his/our belongings and I had no idea how long the house would be on the market or how long the whole process would take. I was recommended to her by a family friend and to say I was impressed is an understatement. She met me the soonest moment she could to go over logistics and from the moment I told her I wanted to list the house with her she got the ball rolling. She helped me fill out information about the house that I simply never knew because those things are not what my dad would share with me. She would make a trip to the house multiple times a week at times to feed our dog or check on things because I was hours away at school. She was there the day of the estate auction for support and a very thoughtful gift. Kat was confident in her and my abilities and knows the market well. Our house was a unique build, location, and had several additions; but she knew the perfect time and place to have it listed. There were a few hiccups along the way; but Kat took care of them with ease before she made me worry about it. She always has my best interest at heart. I can't imagine what this process may have looked like if Kat Laxague wasn't my realtor. Our house was sold and closed on 65 days after it was listed. This selling process being so pain-free and quick due to Kat's expert experience has let me be able to focus on my future marriage and career. I am forever grateful for her and the individual she is.

While walking around or inside the property I observed Kat working as if she was a military intelligence officer gathering information that I would never think of. Kat never sat back and waited for us to ask a question; she was always several steps ahead of us. Computer and phone always on, researching the home that was right for us. Kat is the right real estate person for all.

Kat is the most professional and personable realtor hands down. Kat stepped in when we needed it most. Within 3 days we were up and running and had more than 7 showings in 10 days! She was constantly reassuring. Telling me she had us and just let her do her job. And she absolutely did! I jokingly say she's our bulldog in the fight--but its really true. She knows what she's doing and how things work. She knows how to take your property and make it shine--even if its already beautiful--it will stand out. Kat never missed a call or a text. Always on it. We never had to sweat because we trusted her advice and opinion with everything. You can only find that with someone who loves what they do BUT has the experience to back that up. She is amazing in every way. And I just thought we were selling out home...but now we have a friend. She is just a gem and we can't recommend her enough!
