My partner and I had been searching for a home for about six years on and off by the time we met Kari. We met Kari at a open house she was hosting and hit it off. We didn’t feel pressure to work with her, but left with her information. We left that open house feeling great about the house and meeting Kari. We contacted her after and asked her to represent us with an offer. She didn’t hesitate even though she was also representing the sellers. I can imagine that Is a bit of tricky scenario. It made us a little nervous not knowing who’s best interest she had in mind but she did her thing. We were one of many offers and in the end one of two. We had never gotten so close, it was nerve wrecking. Kari was straight up, she told us what we needed to do to win and told us if we didn’t we wouldn’t. Plain and simple. I really appreciated that. When emotions are running high and all certainty is on the line I just want clear cut answers. Well, we didn’t get that house because we didn’t listen to her advice. She urged us not to get discouraged but to learn from it. That one stung for a bit and we took a much needed emotional break from the house hunt. Kari respected our process. It had been a few months and on a whim my partner and I decided to go to a open house. We went to view and fell in love. We decided to make an offer and called Kari who got to work for us right away even though she was on vacation in Hawaii! Offers were due in two days! She didn’t skip a beat, she was so responsive. Since we had the experience of the loss with her we knew this time to heed all her advice. She wrote up a strong offer and encouraged us to add something a little personal in the form of a letter. We didn’t expect to win but we did! No back and forth just a “Congratulations, you got your house!” Words we’ve waited a long time to hear. It was her guidance and expertise that helped us get there without a fight! It was unexpected finding her but so glad we did 10/10 would recommend!
