Kari has been in Property Management and Real Estate for over 30+ years! Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Kari focused on multi-family projects in every facet of the industry such as property acquisitions, new construction, renovations, corporate trainer, marketing director, regional management and trouble shooting for low performing projects.
Kari moved to Fort Myers, Florida in May of 2000 with an excellent opportunity with a growing company. Shortly after her move to Florida, she found herself once again, leading company projects, managing and operating numerous multi-family sites, specializing in new construction and renovation, managing apartment-to-condo conversions and repositioning properties to sell to future investors. Kari also produced company policy and procedures, operations and safety manuals and staff implementation.
Furthermore, with the condo conversion market, Kari headed up and established one of the largest single family management portfolios in south Florida with approximately 600 investor units and 3 offices in Tampa, Orlando and Fort Myers within the 1st year.
January of 2005, Kari retained her Florida Real Estate License and then her Florida Real Estate Broker’s License. Additionally, in 2007, Kari started Realty Rents and Sales LLC specializing in single family rentals and asset management.
Naturally, these services led to additional services such as buyer, seller and investor real estate services, home watch, eviction services plus supervising, bidding and arranging of property improvements to distressed properties.
In addition to her college education in architecture, interior design and landscape design, she also continued her education within the National Apartment Association, National Board of Realtors, National Association of Residential Property Managers and other education providers, as well as, sat on numerous community boards.
