I am the team leader for Upstate Home Hunters with Weichert Realtors - Shaun & Shari Group. Our team really enjoys hunting just the right home for our buyers and getting our seller's property sold so they can move up or move on. We have the grit to stick with you whether it takes a day or a year to find your perfect property. When I am not selling real estate, you will most likely find me in the garden. I just love fresh food on my plate and enjoy cooking healthy food for my grandchildren. I grow vegetables & fruits without chemicals and love fresh tomatos that need to be eaten over the sink because they are dripping with so much goodness! The "black" tomatoes are my favorite. My cherry trees just bloomed so I'm looking forward to fresh cherry juice in June. In the past, canning food kept me busy at the end of summer. Now that my girls have families of their own, canning is not required, but I'm thinking, cans of fresh food would probably be appreciated by my kids and grandkids. So, maybe I should enlarge the garden this year and pass along the gift of canning?! My dream is to be as self-sufficient as possible, maybe living in a yurt someday off the grid on some acreage with a beautiful view of God's creation.
