My wife and I were searching for an existing home in Livingston County with no success. My friend, who lives in the County, on a whim stopped in at the local Rock Realty office and met the agent who would save the day. Julia Duke is a vivacious young agent who is tenacious in attempting to satisfy a clients desires and goals. After viewing several homes on the market Julia realized we were on the wrong track as we had told her in conversation that the last three homes my wife and I occupied were new builds in which we had our specifications met. Julia suggested purchasing land and building new. She escorted us to a developing subdivision with 3+ acre lots and right to a parcel that my wife and I immediately sensed was the one for us. Knowing that our last two homes were constructed by the same small quantity builder who was known for his excellent quality Julia introduced us to a similar builder in the area. Upon meeting the builder who was eager to satisfy any requests we might have we knew Julia had gotten us on the right track. Julia has guided us through the intricacies of the land purchase, introduced us to a local banker, and continues to monitor the house construction and keep us informed on its progress as well as answer and offer direction relative to any questions or assistance we need.
