We were looking for a home from afar and Julia was always willing to do anything that needed to be done on-site for us. She was able to negotiate having some expensive work that the house needed before we could move in covered by the seller. Given her numerous business contacts, she was also able to put us in touch with others who made the home buying process simple. We are so grateful for her help in finding the perfect home for us.

I have recently bought a property after about 3 years of looking. The last year I worked with Julia and it was a great experience. She is very good at providing the info you need while not saturating you with too many details. She checks in periodically to see how your search is going and gauge which properties might be beneficial for you to look at. She is generous with her time while not wasting yours if she does not think a property will suit your needs. Great first time homebuyer experience!

After introducing herself she inquired about my interest. I told her my situation and what I thought I was looking for. She listened quietly and then she convincingly and in detail told me how this house did not match the needs that I had given her. In doing so she convinced me that she was an attentive and accurate listener. I liked that. Of course, she offered to help me find a better fit. I paused to think. I had no reference for her, and I had not intended to start a serious search yet. But I liked the fact that I had called her about potentially buying a house and she had put my needs first by talking me out of it. I certainly had not expected that. I gave her my email address. In a few hours I had six suggestions. We went house hunting. Fortunately for me the first house we investigated was more of a fixer upper than I wanted. Still, we went through it in detail. I began to think of Julia, not as a salesperson, but as a buyer advocate. She was as skilled an observer of the houses as she was a good listener. Now I was comfortable. She had my trust. Soon we found the house for me. It was time to make an offer. The next obstacle was that the inventory of houses for sale was low, and the prices were high. I asked her what she thought it was going to sell for. I am cheap and the number she gave me was not what I was hoping for. I told her that I wanted to think about it, and I would call her in the morning with my offer. I went online and studied recent sales and reluctantly admitted to myself that she was probably right, and it turned out that she was. I got the house without spending one extra penny (of course that can't happen every time). She would continue to give me good advice and surround me with strong, capable support. Julia Connolly is a knowledgeable, personable, professional who has pleasurably kept me on course through the sometimes complex and confusing process of buying a house. I am a fan.
