We hired Juan Munoz (Homesmart Realty in Denver, Colorado) as our realtor to help us buy a home and get ours on the market at breakneck speed: we contacted him in the middle of an afternoon, explaining that we’d seen a house pop up on the market that we wanted to move quickly on, and by 6pm the same day Juan was showing us the house. He then came over that night to help us put in our offer and start talking about getting our existing home on the market. He negotiated our offer over the next 12 hours and we got the house! It wouldn’t have been possible without Juan’s willingness to jump in, move quickly, and get the job done. We’ve been so glad to have him on our team and are excited to get our existing house on the market with him in the next few days — he’s been an incredible partner during the sale process so far (helping us with renovations, finding all the service providers we need, and even hiring handymen and cleaners on his own dime to get our house in perfect sale condition). Juan has great qualities and a diverse skillset that every realtor should learn from. Juan was great to work with, and helped my fiance and I buy our first house together! We couldn't be happier with our house and the deal we made, despite a very tough housing market. During our search, Juan did a great job lining up the showings we requested so that we could efficiently see a bunch of places in one afternoon. He was very flexible working around our schedules so that we could also go see places before or after work, or on the weekends. He worked to understand our wants and needs and was honest in evaluating the value of places we looked at. He always responded promptly, made sure to follow up, and took time to answer all of our questions and review documents in detail with us. Juan provided valuable advice when we strategize about our offer and negotiate a great deal for us including a substantial seller concession which we were able to use to cover closing costs and buy down our interest rate.
