John Ross

John Ross was absolutely fantastic! My partner and I are first time home buyers and were just starting to look in February. I tried another realtor first and she was awful (took forever to respond to emails, only wanted to show her properties) so I decided to read the reviews the next time I liked a property and see if the listing agent was someone that I'd like to work with. John had excellent reviews and from the get go he proved his great customer service by calling me within 20 minutes of my inquiry and being very honest about the property (it was on a busy street). We chatted and I had a really good feeling about him so he emailed me some homes and we started our home buying adventure in earnest with John and his trusty flashlight app! I think we viewed over 20, maybe over 25 homes in Wilmington, North Reading, Reading and finally Wakefield. John always was prompt in email responses and walked us through the bidding process several times. It's a very tough market for buyers out there with intense competition for homes. John never let us go crazy with the bidding and was always honest about issues he saw and what he thought was a fair price. When we finally found "the" home, John went above and beyond. He showed it to us numerous times, he helped us with contractors, and he recommended a great lawyer. He even came to the closing with us and is actually still giving us advice about painters and little things like oil companies. He lives in Wakefield and has a great knowledge of the area and what's what. If you're looking in this area, I really recommend John. I went through two realtors and trust me, you will not find this level of customer service- John is one of a kind!
