We were new to house hunting and were fortunate to meet Joel at an open house. Almost immediately, we felt comfortable with him and decided to use him as our realtor. He patiently guided us through the process, and helped us narrow down the criteria we wanted in a house. Especially helpful was his deep knowledge of renovations, allowing us to explore the possibility of buying a fixer upper. During the negotiation process, his tips allowed us to put forth competitive bids and navigate the counterbidding. When our bid was finally accepted and we closed on the house, his contacts were invaluable. From his inspector to contractors, all of his recommendations were trustworthy and very competent. His combination of friendliness, professionalism and responsiveness are simply a cut above.

Joel went above and beyond to help us buy our first home. We knew nothing about the home buying process, and he guided us through it all with so much kindness and never any judgment for our many questions. He helped us find a home within 10 days and when it came time to put it in offer, his expertise and rapport with the selling agent made it possible for the sellers to choose us from the many offers they received. With his team, we felt less stressed and never missed a deadline (shout out to Paris). Between the lender and Joel, we never had to worry about delays from budgeting to pre-approval to placing an offer all the way to official loan approval. Also, he has great connections with inspectors, contractors, and more who have all come through for us!We couldn't be happier with the entire home buying experience. All thanks to Joel! And he is so thoughtful - he and Paris surprised us with a beautiful house warming gift basket so that we (and our dog!!) could celebrate becoming homeowners. We will definitely reach out to him in the future regarding any buying/selling needs.

Joel and Paris made my home buying experience very easy and straightforward. As a new home buyer, I didn’t understand the process of purchasing a new home, but Joel walked me through each step and explained the process along the way. He was open to questions and very quick to respond. Joel helped me choose homes to tour in-person, set me up with an escrow company, and kept me on task to close on time. I can't begin to tell you how impressed we were with Joel's knowledge, professionalism, willingness to go above and beyond, and just being an all around stand up guy. We purchased a home in La Mesa from Maui, Hi and Joel helped us a lot when we were not able to physically be there to do things for the home. Oh, and did I mentioned that once we had the deal done for the home we wanted to purchase, Joel then put our current home on the market and had it sold in less than 10 days for over-asking price! We are still amazed at how fast it all happened, and we feel so blessed to have had Joel representing us in both the buy and sell roles.
