I initially contacted Jodie as she was the listing agent for two of the properties at the top of my "wish list" one of which I eventually purchased. While it is not usually recommended practice to go directly with the seller's realtor, after dealing with other agents who couldn't be bothered for a call-back, or were more interested in selling financing products, it was worth contacting her. It only took one call with Jodie to see that I was now dealing with an experienced professional, who was well versed in Louisiana real estate laws. As my partner and I were relocating to new Orleans from out of state, most of our dealings were over the phone or by email. When meeting with Jodie, she showed us the available properties in our price range and preferred neighborhoods, showing no preference to her own listings to any of the other's, and put together a predicated offer for us based upon the sale of our other house in a reasonable time frame. Throughout the entire process to closing, we felt that we were given equal treatment to the seller in the dual agent relationship, and received additional help and advice that went above and beyond the typical role of a realtor.

Jodie has worked with us with so much professionalism. She has done exhaustive property research for us, she has shown us properties. In that it was so obvious that she had done her homework, that she knew the areas she was proposing, and she was so patient in explaining which is not always the case with real estate brokers.
