I have worked with Jodi for several years with several real estate sales and have been very satisfied by the effort she put in to finding me the correct home or help me sell an existing one. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to buy or sell in the Chapel Hill/ Durham area.

Jodi has assisted in the acquisitions and sell of two home for me and Jessica and we have always been highly impressed with her professionalism and knowledge of the Chapel Hill real estate landscape. We have recommended her to several friends and she has been a BIG hit in all cases. We highly, highly recommend her!

Real Estate Experts is aptly named. Jodi is a seasoned pro who knows the market and is a great negotiator on your behalf. Well worth consulting at any stage of the process. We’ve had very good experiences with several moves in the area. All accomplished our goal thanks to Jodi and her team.

We could not have asked for a better experience than working with Jodi Bakst to sell our house. She gave us excellent advice on preparing it for sale, and doing an advance home inspection to make sure there would be no surprises at closing. She found good comparables and made an excellent recommendation on how to price it, with the result that it sold within four days at a price substantially higher than the listing. And throughout the process, she and her staff were fully on top of all the details and thoroughly professional. All in all, a most positive experience.

Jodi was great in taking us around to different communities when we were looking to relocate. Once we purchased the home, she followed through with having he construction inspected each step of the way as we were not in state at the time. She continued through when we made the purchase and sale agreement and helped after we had moved to the area. She is a great asset to her clients and her profession.Jodi Baskt helped us tremendously when we moved from Massachusetts to Chapel Hill. She was very patient in taking us to many complexes and areas in the area and not too far from family. On our last day, she took us to Encore which is an over 55 community in Briar Chapel. It was a match. She helped guide us through the construction process with inspections and helped with getting a mortgage. She was with us every step of the way and acted on our behalf when we were in Massachusetts. We could not have found a warmer and more professional person than Jodi. After being settled in for almost a year and half, we are ever so thankful for her guidance and support. We have recommended her to friends and people we have met in the area.

Jodi has always been very friendly and full of advice on what to do next, how to do it, and where to go to get it done. She has walked me through both buying a house in Chapel Hill, and then 20 years later selling that same house. I felt I was well informed, and I was doing the right next thing in the process of the real estate deal.

Jodi was great. Even when we had different ideas about aspects of the process we worked through them clearly and without any drama. And since I was out of state, she did a ton of leg work rounding up various contractors and quotes for repairs. Would recommend her to anyone.

I would recommend Jodi Bakst to anyone needing a real estate agent. She cares: Jodi spent a year helping my family find our home. She was faithful to our search and adaptive to the changes in our moving strategy, and never made us feel pressured. It was clear she wanted to find the right home for our family, not just find us a house. She is knowledgeable: As someone moving from out-of-state, the time I spent scouting the Chapel Hill area with Jodi could have only been possible with someone who is deeply familiar with the area. She was able to adapt our home search on the spot and within our time constraints, giving me not only important information about my new hometown, but the best options for family's home search. She is incredibly competent: Throughout the search for, negotiation, inspection, and closing of our home, Jodi provided sound insight and advocacy. We trusted her advice and trusted that she was looking out for our best interest. She asked the questions that we needed to ask and had great referrals for brokers, home inspectors, etc. She did an amazing job of communicating throughout the entire process. Jodi is professional, friendly, and "on-the-ball". We are very thankful to have worked with her.

Jodi Bakst was recommended to me by two of my former neighbors that had used her to sell their houses. Jodi came prepared with all of her research for pricing and got my house on the market in less than a week. Jodi was always very prompt to respond to all my questions and communications. In the end the house sold at the full listing price in a few weeks. I would use Jodi again and recommend her to my family and friends.

This was my first experience buying a home, and I definitely had lots of questions along the way. I have a busy travel schedule for work, and Jodi was able to be available for me when needed despite large time differences. She made stuff happen--and quickly! And I trusted her immediately. I never felt the need to reach out to other agents once I spoke with her and we had a conversation. I appreciate her hard work, experience, and knowledge!

Working with Jodi was great from the very first time we met, throughout subsequent meetings, in contract negotiations and finally up to closing and delivery of the check. Jodi made the process as pleasant and painless as the selling of your home of 30 years could ever be. We would have no hesitations in using her again or recommending her to family or friends.

Jodi helped me in my search for a townhouse in Chapel Hill. After we did not find any listed properties to my liking, Jodi contacted owners of properties not yet listed or on the market, but in which she learnt I may have an interest, I ended up purchasing such an off-market property, and it would not have happened without Jodi's considerable efforts and persistence. After contacting the property owner, Jodi quickly established a great working relationship with the Seller and negotiated a tough but fair purchase contract on my behalf. Her strong organizational and management skills guided the contract through due diligence and required repairs. Jodi also went above and beyond by scheduling and coordinating the repairs, painting, cleaning, etc. that made the house ready for my move in. I have dealt with a few agents over the years, but I can say without hesitation Jodi provided the best service and guidance. It was my pleasure working with Jodi on my recent purchase, and I will certainly recommend her to any buyers/sellers who are in need of an agent. She is simply the best!
