When working with the relocation company Jim's BMA was 20 % lower then 2 other listing price suggestions we received. Jim offered great suggestions for how to prepare the home for showings and offered guidance on repairs that we needed. Jim was super friendly and was very knowledgeable about the home and the market in that area. Jim was by far the most experienced agent, as you could tell this was a 2nd or 3rd career for the other relators that presented to us. Even with this information in hand we still went with another agent because the suggested price in hopes of getting more for our home. We eventually ended up going back to Jim and selling the home just under his recommended price, as we missed the peak of the season and lost valuable time, by listing the home too high. I a confident we would have gotten more for our money if we had gone with Jim sooner. Other agents we met seemed less knowledgeable about the challenges of selling our home or they didn't want to sell our home because of its location. Jim was very friendly and open. There were no hard feelings even when we went with someone else. When we moved Jim and his team did regular checks on our home to make sure everything was ok, while the house was vacant. He took feedback from the relo company and did opens houses as suggested. Even though he is the expert he still listened to me and took feedback as I suggested things like posting more pictures or changing the description.
