Initially Jewell phoned it in with a listing that had no description and blurry cell phone photos because she had a buyer in mind that she represented (which would net her and easy double commission). When that buyer fell through she finally decided to be an agent. Unfortunately by that point all the terrible photos she took were permanently associated to the listed on all the aggregate listing sites and we had already missed out on a lot of the "new listing" momentum. Lucky for us it was a seller's market and we were still able to sell the house. However, when an offer was made on our house, I questioned her about ownership of our refrigerator since it wasn't in the contract. She said we had to leave it. Fast forward to closing and the buyers mentions they were getting a new refrigerator. Jewell then says, "we know you didn't ask for the refrigerator, but we left it for you anyway". Um, what? As someone who is building a home with no included appliances, I definitely had a use for the refrigerator and she just decided for me to give it away. It was the exclamation point on a business relationship fraught with terrible communication (with even worse excuses) and unprofessional behavior. And the icing on the cake, two months after moving the buyer found us on Facebook and messaged us directly to let us know they had a package of ours and they had informed Jewell who didn't bother to reach out to us. Further unprofessional behavior from someone who was obviously upset about our feedback of her lackluster performance.
