We began our search in Englewood and south Venice. The market was very discouraging with outrageous prices on homes that needed tens of thousands of dollars of work. Jessica suggested that we extend our search to Port Charlotte. She explained that it had significantly grown since we last lived in SW Florida & would be a great location to invest in. So, we extended our search into Port Charlotte & Punta Gorda, FL, which turned out to be very good advice. Jessica patiently showed us probably 20 or more homes and put in about 5 or 6 offers on different properties, which were usually substantially below the asking price. We are sure that this was very frustrating for Jessica, but she was ever and always patient, bubbly and enthusiastic to greet us on yet another day of showing us sometimes 8 properties in a day. She made note of our questions during these showings, promptly researched for answers not immediately known, and went out of her way to find out about the neighborhoods and rent comparisons. And the icing on the cake - since we lived so far from Port Charlotte, we would provide her with a list of possible properties, and she would to scope out the neighborhoods and even sometimes get inside to take peek for us. She actually scoped out the property we ended up buying for us. Closing was a breeze, and Jessica was with us every step of the way. We will definitely engage Jessica again as our real estate agent should we ever find ourselves back in that market again.
