For over a decade, my family vacationed in Murphy, and my husband, Carl, and I ultimately decided to make this beautiful town our home in April of 2022. In my free time, I find joy in reading, making brooms, attending concerts, building LEGOs, visiting wineries, and being outside. I am passionate about animals and am the proud founder of Liberation Cat House, a Central Florida-based cat rescue. Carl and I live in the Hiwassee Dam area with our dog, Sunny James, as well as cats, chickens, turkeys, geese, and a very fine pig.
