My wife and I worked with Jerry Kayser for six months. He helped us buy a condo and sell our house. When we began, we had the idea that a realtor was someone who took you around and showed you places. As we learned, they are far more than that. Jerry provided assistance, advice and direction in all of the many, many aspects of buying and selling a home of which we had no experience or knowledge. For us that included getting and passing a septic inspection, filling out lots of legal forms, getting advice about who could reasonably do the changes and repairs needed to get our house on the market, helping us get the place we bought inspected, and the list goes on endlessly. Besides the things you might expect a realtor to do Jerry went beyond the call of duty and did things no one should expect any realtor to do. For example, while we were out of town the buyers of the house wanted some things removed from the house and Jerry got it done in short order. We have learned two things from our experience: First, don’t sell or buy a house without a realtor. Things are just too complicated today. Second, get a realtor as good as Jerry Kayser. If you don’t, there are hundreds of ways you could be sorry. I know that without Jerry, we could have had multiple disasters. Better yet, instead of hoping to get an agent as good as Jerry Kayser, get Jerry Kayser if you can. We know that he will go the extra mile. We will certainly use him again if we have to sell our condo.
Jerry was a tremondous help with the purchase of our home and we would not hesitate to recommend him!! We were purchasing from out of state and had limited time to look at houses. He gave us guidance with areas to look at and was knowledgable with regards to local zoning. Communication and follow up was top notch. He also acted as our agent at closing as we were not able to be there.
