As a first-time home buyer, I had done my share of reading and research, but there's only so much you can learn on your own. I also asked friends about their home buying experiences, but the information I received was mostly surface-level. My mom worked with Jeremy a few years ago to find her home, and she had nothing but great things to say about him. Jeremy was kind, patient, and always available. When touring homes, he pointed out all the little things about houses that first-timers like me wouldn't think to look for, but are important to be aware of. Questions like, "Are the floors settling anywhere?", "Is there a draft from the windows?", "How old is the roof, and will it need to be replaced soon?", and details beyond the superficial. He also considered how close the home is to the highway, which could mean it's too noisy, or how close you are to the things you really need. Initially, I had a strict set of criteria for what I wanted in my first home, but with Jeremy's help, I started thinking like a homeowner, not just a buyer. I ended up closing on a home that was outside of my original parameters, but I love it more than anything I would have picked on my own, thanks to his help. I met Jeremy over the phone in October of 2021. I was that person that every realtor cringes about, the parent of a buyer. Jeremy addressed all my questions regarding the real estate market in New Hampshire and the market in general in 2021. Jeremy was different than most real estate agents in a market where buyers outnumbered sellers as he cared for his buyer. Jeremy in my opinion has the attributes that anyone in sales and especially real estate sales needs. o He is an excellent communicator both verbally and with his written communication. Jeremy understood as a buyer, what my son and his wife were looking for. He engaged us in understanding the market as house after house was put on the market with offers sometimes exceeding $70 to $100 thousand over ask. o He understands construction and could point out potential issues. He helped engage a trusted home inspector to give quick guidance when inspections were not part of the process. o He is consistent in his messaging and has a positive demeanor that creates a feeling of trust. o He always follows through, including after the sale. I would not hesitate to recommend Jeremy as a listing or buyers’ agent. I can end this with the most important part of working with Jeremy. He takes the ethics of his job very seriously. While the market in 2021 and 2022, brought out realtors thinking they could make good money in a crazy market and were less then professional, Jeremy was stellar in his honest knowledgeable understanding of the real estate business at looking out for in this case the interest of his buyers.
