Questions like, "Are the floors settling anywhere?", "Is there a draft from the windows?", "How old is the roof, and will it need to be replaced soon?", and details beyond the superficial. He also considered how close the home is to the highway, which could mean it's too noisy, or how close you are to the things you really need. Initially, I had a strict set of criteria for what I wanted in my first home, but with Jeremy's help, I started thinking like a homeowner, not just a buyer. I ended up closing on a home that was outside of my original parameters, but I love it more than anything I would have picked on my own, thanks to his help.
