Living in another state, I thought house hunting and buying would be a painful experience. It was, but not nearly as bad a expected. I attribute that to Jenny Wells. She listened to our needs and desires and really served us well. She was particularly good at keeping us informed throughout the entire house hunting and buy process.
More than anything, Jenny is an authority in this market and she is an excellent communicator. And the latter was very important to us as we had more questions than usual. Jenny always responds promptly and she provided guidance on topics that I did not have experience (info on stucco, roofing, energy, gators, pros and cons of the area, HOAs, bugs! - to name a few) She does what she says she is going to do - and frequently, she would just go above and beyond. I was nervous about a potential roofing issue. She provided us options in regard to second opinions and she even showed up for a second inspection as we were out of town. Jenny knows the market and with us moving in from out of state that was really important. Jenny listened to our wants/needs and then came up with great properties to show us as we visited Bluffton over two separate trips to explore areas. You will find out immediately that she does her homework so as not to waste time. She is efficient, personable, and certainly not afraid to tell us the truth vs what we wanted to hear. She warned me several times not to go with the national mortgage company that I ended up choosing. Her guidance was spot on. As I did not listen to her - it almost cost me losing the home because they dropped the ball (a couple of them, actually at the 11th hour) exactly where Jenny said that they might. Regardless, with Jenny at our side, we made the largest investment that I have ever made in our home. We simply could not be happier with our purchase and with the calming and professional expertise that Jenny provided to us.
Jenny was great! She went out of her way to make sure we found the right property and was always very responsive to our many questions. We couldn't recommend her enough.
Working with Jenny was a fantastic experience. She is an expert in the Hilton Head marketplace and has an excellent understanding of the specific issues involved in purchasing a vacation rental property in this region. Even though I grew up vacationing on the island, I was not particulary familiar with the local developments and I eventually realized that I really didn't know enough to find the right place on my own. Jenny was able to effectively "read my mind" and identified a property that I probably never would have considered if I was just searching avaliable listings. I knew it was the perfect place as soon as I stepped in the door. She was able to successfully negotiate with the sellers and streamline the buying process at the peak of COVID crisis. I strongly believe that I got the best place under the best terms with Jenny at the helm. I cannot overstate my recommendation of her. Choosing her was by far the best decision I made.

She went beyond and above to understand our needs and wants, share important comparisons info about the area, and ultimately help us to find our dream home. She is so professional, friendly, knowledgeable, patient and really had our back in all phases of negotiations. I gave Jenny parameters, including location, and she found me a wonderful condo for an absolutely rock bottom price. She held my hand the whole way, including keeping in contact with the other realtor and the lawyer representing me. Jenny would contact both to make sure the contract was air tight to my benefit. I got a cost reduction, repairs, additional funds for repairs. Jenny works with professional to appraise and inspect my home. I can't say anything greater. Kudos to Jenny!
