We set out to find a home in Bluffton, SC, and relocate from Michigan. We were so lucky to have found Jenny Wells through a recommendation. This process took some time since home inventories are scarce and we had certain home requirements. We traveled to SC and spent two days with Jenny. She was organized, thorough and very knowledgeable about the area and local real estate considerations. Though we did not initially find a home in those two days (not for lack of trying), we really got to know Jenny and develop a strong trust for her. We really felt that Jenny was not to just try and make a sale. She really wanted us to both be completely happy and was very attentive and honest about the pros and cons of each house we viewed. While we returned to Michigan without a house on that visit, we knew Jenny would keep working for us and that together we would eventually find the perfect match. Well, after only a couple weeks Jenny found us a house. She even went over to the property and recorded a video walkthrough for us. It was perfect and over the following few days we settled on a purchase price and terms. Again Jenny sweat each and every detail so we had peace of mind. We now have a Bluffton home in Hampton Hall which we a very pleased with. Since then, Jenny has helped us numerous times throughout the move and transition. She even went to the house in our absence last week and waited for the cable guy to come install our Internet services. We just love Jenny and her husband and hope to continue being good friends with them for a long time to come.
We had only visited Hilton Head once, but were familiar with Folly Beach. So when my husband agreed to a small condo for our family to renovate, rent and enjoy with our teenagers and dogs, HHI felt like the perfect fit. As I started searching the market, Jenny reached out via email. Thank goodness she did because we had ZERO knowledge about the area. We knew only our approximate budget, and that we wanted to rent our condo for short term/vacation rentals and bring our dogs. All the while answering our questions, connecting us with a loan agent in the local area. All of these things are different then purchasing in Ohio, also a 2nd home is handled differently too. At one point the sellers agent was not responding to a concern we had about plumbing (again something Jenny advised us was a concern in this area). We were ready to walk away from our offer. Jenny was our strong advocate. I knew with her Masters in Business that she had a strong background in business and the real estate market for HHI. It was a bonus when we discovered that she had also lived in the Dayton area like us. In the future we would love to add to our property portfolio and have Jenny right by our side again for every sale. I would recommend Jenny Wells to ALL of my family and friends! Again her business/realtor experience is immeasurable. Add to that her kindness, patience, sense of humor and we call her our first friend in Hilton Head.
