We were planning to sell a home in Coos Bay, and asked a different realtor to evaluate it and recommend what we should ask. We received some comparables, and were told a suggested asking price, much lower than we expected. But we did not know what we should ask, so we figured the home was not worth what we expected. Several weeks later, this realtor never contacted us, to see what we wanted to do. We figured we would try another realtor, to see if maybe the previous one was too low, and Jan was recommended. Jan immediately was very positive about the home and gave us comparables, and suggested an asking price $30-40,000 higher, about 10%. We were cautious but very surprised. Immediately she gave us a packet of information and we decided to ask her to try to sell the home. We had a number of issues that came up, such as property line potential problem, garage foundation question, several offers, etc but in each case she guided us through very professionally. After the initial offer, which was a reasonable offer, she guided us to where the offer was increased and ultimately we sold the home $10,000 less than our initial asking price, which was a very good price. Bottom line we would recommend Jan and her team to anyone looking to buy or sell, she is very professional, dedicated and very nice as well....
