My partner and I often joked that James is "the hardest working man in show business," but it is sincerely true -- and he does it with the joy of a person who really loves the work he does. James tirelessly scoped out properties on both sides of the bay, took walkthrough videos for us of prospective homes, sorted through disclosures and interpreted them for us, found us experts to consult with... even watched our newborn baby in the driveway of prospective homes while we toured inside! (That's how much we trust him!) I hope it goes without saying how enthusiastically I recommend James to anyone buying or selling a home. You couldn't be in better hands.

I highly recommend working with James! We're first time home-buyers and James has been everything we could've asked for and more! He has a great understanding of the San Francisco market (and surrounding areas), and was able to give us good insights into properties and advice on how much to offer for competitive bids based on his research of comparable sales in the area. He was great for every step of the process, even early on when we were just window shopping and checking out open houses. James was really helpful in recommending locations/neighborhoods based on our budget, style, and preferences. He was also very flexible, always available when we needed to chat or wanted to meet up. Due to our work schedules, we couldn't view most open houses on the weekends, but James was always coordinated with the sellers and was able to show us the properties during times that worked with our schedule. As we moved forward with offers, he provided us with all the info and resources we needed as first time home-buyers with no idea what to expect, including summary information about property disclosures (highlighting key things we should focus on), recommendations for lenders, insurance, movers, cleaners (which he paid for!), handymen, and more! The whole process has been so smooth and can't imagine having done it without James.
