I have known Jim Burgess for 56 to 57 years. I didn't know that he was in the real estate business until we ran onto each other at a function. When my brother got ill I was forced to sell his home and Jim was my first and only call. Jim came over the next day and took a look at the home. He made several suggestions to make the place more marketable. Later that week he came over with a list of comparables and we agreed on a listing price. We signed papers and the house went on the market on Friday of that week. Jim called me on Monday and said he had heard from three other realtors with offers in hand. We met for dinner (he bought), picked the most advantageous deal and it was a done deal.

Jim and I used to work at the USPS together years ago, and I admired him them. I live two hours away from the property I put up for sale, and Jim oversaw the emptying, cleaning, and upgrading of the place.
