I have now had the pleasure of having worked with Hans, Kristin, and Hannah twice. Once to sell my childhood home and once to purchase our first home. I cannot say enough about how wonderful they were as a team. Hannah, who project managed setting up our childhood home for sale is responsive, punctual, and realistic in goals. Selling our childhood home was emotional and we felt very supported throughout the entire process. Hans and Kristin managed to get us above and beyond the price we expected, which showed us how well they know the crazy market in Alameda. Hans and Krisitn are truly exceptional. We were very impressed with their level of knowledge and the amount of data that they had about the market and the locations we were looking to buy. It was a no-brainer for us to work with them and we're so thankful I did. They were always available for home tours when we needed them. Their responsiveness was incredible, they always got back to us the same day. We purchased our first home which came with a lot of questions and concerns. They walked us through every step and highlighted their concerns and helped us research solutions. They really treated our buying process like they were purchasing the property – they looked out for us and always had our best interest in mind. They are amazing, and though we're happy to have found our home we will miss working with them day to day. We were recommended Kristin and Hans from The Gunderman Group by the listing agent at an open house. At around the same time, we were contacted by a different agent on Redfin, who helped us make the offer on that initial place. We wrote to Kristin and Hans to say thanks, but no thanks, thinking this would be the end of that referral. Much to our surprise, Kristin wrote back with a myriad of ways they could be helpful in the future and a researched list of places in the area similar to the one we had put an offer on. I was impressed by how responsive she and Hans were to feedback and the lengths they went to make us feel heard based on the little info they had from our initial email. Needless to say, our offer on the original house wasn't accepted, but for the remainder of our house-buying process, we went with Kristin and Hans because it just felt like a better fit. They were with us through every step of the process from there, from understanding the unspoken subtext behind the disclosures, to the next offer (which was accepted), to helping us get settled in to our new home with contractor referrals and tips. I truly feel like we've found lifelong allies, rather than transactional real estate agents, through Kristin and Hans.
