We were very satisfied with our experience with Southbys Realty and our realtors Gibbs Baum and Greg Zimmerman. First I should explain that our unit had been under contract with another realtor for six months previously and we never even received an offer. Gibbs explained everything to us in detail during our initial visit when he viewed our beachside condo in Satellite Beach, Fl. We completely understood how the sale of our unit would be handled and what to expect during various time frames of our contact. Gibbs constantly advertised our unit as promised and had numerous open houses. He also had our unit featured in a local beachside paper. The article was 5-6 pages long with multiple pictures and we were very happy with the extra effort he put fourth in doing that piece. Our unit was originally empty and we were concerned about how that might affect sales but Gibbs said not to worry and arranged for our unit to not only have video furniture staginging but he actually placed some of his own furnishings in our unit and made it look very warm and attractive. He also sent us weekly updates on the sales activity and sales forecast in our area so that we were constantly aware of how the market was doing. Gibbs was always available by phone if we had any questions or concerns. Our unit was sold within 90 days and our closing was effortless despite our not being able to be there in person. We would not hesitate to recommend Gibbs, his associate Greg and Sotheby’s to anyone selling their property.
