Working with Gene has been nothing but an amazing experience. It has been two years since I moved out of the state. Gene has been taking care of the house since the beginning. Gene helped me facilitate everything. I mean, everything from managing property for a rental to watering down the grass himself to ensure the house is ready for sales. Even after the contract is signed and accepted, he still went to the house and take care of the yard for the buyer. Inspections, backyard landscaping, tree cutting, fixing up discrepancy, cleaning, painting; just a few examples Gene has helped me with. On a professional level, this is my second time doing business with Gene Brown. He has been instrumental in helping me sell both of my Aunts houses in San Francisco. It's no easy task to find a realtor that will go the extra mile "literally for you" like Gene has done for my family. From advice on remodeling to color schemes and flooring choices, Gene gave great advice from his vast years of experience. Driving to the properties on a regular basis from the East Bay was not always an easy task, but Gene always told me that he liked checking on his listing personally, something I found to be a great comfort, because I couldn't always get there because of prior commitments. Gene also arranged the many inspections and needed repairs prior to putting the homes on the market, from dealing with PG&E, SF Water, home inspection and roofers, Gene was there more than me. Even at the time when the latest house went on the market, my family and I were going on vacation and I was considering on not going over concerns on the timing of putting the house up for sale, but Gene assured me to go, that he would take care of any matters that might arise, and he did. He as just been wonderful through these two transactions, I would not hesitate to refer him to any close friend or family member.
