Gale came in and gave me an honest assessment of the house and told me exactly what I needed to be done, with names and contact info of various tradesmen. It’s hard to know where to start! Our experience with Gail Milgrim and the entire KW staff was wonderful. We first met with Gail and discussed our house, its potential value and when to put it on the market. We were anxious to get it sold, but Gail advised that we hold off a month. We were hesitant but listened to her and the result was just what she promised. Prices had continued to rise, supply continued to diminish so we ended up getting even more for our house than we anticipated. Gail and her team made the entire process easy. First they advised us on the staging of the house to accent its special features and make it more marketable. Next was their photographer who put together a series of photos that even impressed us! With these pictures and a first rate description the house was listed. We assumed we would get interest, but over 30 viewing in 3 days, was amazing. Gail made this part go smoothly too setting up times and dates for the many showings. All we had to do was leave in the morning and come back “when the coast was clear”. No hassle no problems. We then sat down with Gail and she presented us with a spreadsheet summarizing the various offers and the pros and cons of each. Her explanation of what made one offer better than an other helped so much in our deciding on a buyer. She continued to monitor the rest of the process dealing with inspectors, and any other little unforeseen issue that arose. Finally came the day of closing. Gail met us at the title company to make sure that all went smoothly there as well. From start to finish we couldn’t have asked for more then the professional, considerate and dedicated attention we received.
Gale is a very professional and motivated realtor. She was very helpful from very beginning to the very end, things such as doing market comp/analysis, hiring professionals to stage the house, finding techs to fix the house and hosting Open House, etc. Gale handled things in a timely matter and you don’t ever need to worry about not being able to find her. We said "sure, the timing is great so let’s give it a go". Gale toured our home and we quickly came to a suggested sales price. (Editor’s note, I thought Gale was nuts as the price she wanted to list it at was really pushing the market.) Well after one showing we received a very compelling offer and accepted. Gale was also able to get us an extended close date so that our kids could finish school without any disruptions. If you are thinking about selling, I can highly recommend Gale and encourage you to contact her. From first contact to close, Gale was an all-around pro and made the process super easy. I also encourage you to really push the market with your own list price if you do look to sell. The market is on fire so don’t be afraid to ask for top dollar. You owe it to your neighbors!
We were 4 hours away from where we wanted to purchase a home in Longwood, FL. Gale went above and beyond by previewing in person what we could only see on-line. Once we narrowed the field of possibilities, we made the trip from South Florida to Longwood to view three homes. We loved the first one so much, we skipped the others. We wrote an offer that weekend and went back home to South Florida. Gale and her associate, Shari, did all the legwork to make our purchase happen 30 days later. She facilitated work in the house to install a new floor before we moved in and did it all via e-mail and text. She was always available when we needed her and was very responsive throughout the process. She did more for us than she would have had to do with local buyers and we are very appreciative of her efforts. She did a masterful job of coordinating the closing between the three parties (buyer, seller, and title company). Even after the closing and moving into our new home she has made herself available to assist us in settling in to our new community. After three or four visits and tours, we found the perfect home in Altamonte Springs and we moved quickly to get it under contract. We just closed this week. Through the entire closing process, Gale kept us informed and on task so everything went smoothly and painlessly.
