I am writing this letter to express my gratitude to Ms. Fariba Ferdowsi for the most extraordinary experience I have had during the process of selling my house. Selling my house, my biggest asset and investment in my life for the first time, was the scariest feeling I have ever experienced. Nonetheless, Fariba’s professionalism and competence, which encompass real estate and legal knowledge, presenting and selling skills in today’s market, and above all her honest attitude led my fear to go away and leave me nothing but trust and comfort. I am profoundly impressed by her patience, caring attitude, work ethic, values, vast knowledge, and professionalism. Several years ago, I met Fariba for the first time in my house based on a referral. I wanted to sell my house and buy a condo overseas and another one in Maryland. She began asking me about my plans and listened patiently. Finally, she said that I needed to pause and rethink my plan. I was too confused about my future plan and it became clear that I needed to wait until I had a better idea of what I wanted to do for my retirement. She did not want me to lose my only asset, my house over a hasty decision. That day, her advice which was rooted in her counseling skills and ethical values saved me from major losses. Years later, when I was in another state trying to sign a contract to purchase a house, I called Fariba seeking advice. Again, she began to support me for the new house even before I signed a listing agreement with her to sell my Maryland house. That is why I perceive her as a genuine service to the community who wants to do the right thing for all not just for herself. How does one describe a realtor who was also your therapist during a stressful time and your friend throughout the process? I had the privilege of having Fariba Ferdowsi Motlagh as my realtor and I cannot use enough positive adjectives to describe her! She has outstanding knowledge of the real estate market and her advice was spot on! She never pushed but she asked the right questions so that I could come to decisions that I was comfortable with. Her advice was key to selling my house at an optimal price and with a lot less headache that I expected. I knew this as I had worked with her before and really value her sound advice. Her marketing of my home garnered an outstanding selling price and she negotiated skillfully on my behalf. She went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations again and again. Her calm and sensitive handling of every situation confirmed for me that I had the absolute “right” person representing me and she was ALWAYS available to me. Her integrity is above reproach and her kindness and compassion helped me to be more flexible. I don’t know what I’m going to do without her in my new city across the country. How I wish she would work on the West Coast as well!!!! I am extremely satisfied with my experience with Fariba and would recommend her highly. On a scale of 1-10, I would rate her as 100! I am so grateful to her for all she did for me before, during and after the sale of my home.
