Erika Arnone is a real estate agent with Terrie O'Connor Realtors out of the Kinnelon office. Her background is unlike most agents: she spent years as a nurse and a college professor, helping people through high-stakes, emotional moments. She specialized in mental health and psychiatric nursing and taught psychology at the college level, where she was nominated twice for the Distinguished Teaching Award. She brings that same level of dedication and care to her real estate clients.
Erika's interest in real estate started when she sold her own home and experienced firsthand how emotional and important those decisions can be. She realized she wanted to help other people navigate those major life transitions with confidence, support, and honest guidance.
Her goal for every client is to make them feel heard, understood, and empowered. She wants people to walk away knowing they made decisions that truly align with their lifestyle, their financial goals, and their future.
Erika grew up in North Bergen, where she spent the first 22 years of her life, lived in Lodi for many years, and recently moved to Hopatcong. She holds two bachelor's degrees (forensic psychology and nursing) and two master's degrees (criminal justice and public administration). Outside of work, she's a proud dog mom to two French Bulldogs named Dapper and Theodore.
Erika is also passionate about giving back. She organized a book collection drive for underserved communities that brought in over 5,178 books and was recognized in the local newspaper. She also creates guided journals focused on healing, burnout, bullying awareness, and personal growth.
What she loves about northern New Jersey is the variety: vibrant towns, beautiful nature, strong communities, easy access to NYC, and the unique character each town brings to the table.
