This guy is simply amazing. By my nature I am suspect of realtors, the media, politicians and car salesmen, but Eric quickly put our minds at ease. We met him by fate - the luck of the draw after leaving an inquiry on realtor.com, but the stars were lined up right that day and he proved to be a real pro. When we moved to SW Florida we were coming from Iowa and had never even visited the area before, so we were walking in some pretty tall weeds and could have made some serious and costly mistakes and wasted some valuable time. We needed to get things going quickly and had little room for error. Eric meticulously convinced me on the phone first that he was a true professional. When we flew down a few weeks later he had our boxes checked in all the right places, so we only looked at the precise style of home, price range and amenities we were seeking. He didn’t waste our time trying to upsell us, take us to neighborhoods we couldn’t afford or confuse us with slight-of-hand. In short, Eric did his homework and we helped him by doing ours. As tuff as moving across the country can be, this guy made it as seamless as possible and his advice along the way was monumental in placing us in the perfect home for us in SW Florida, as well as controlling our blood pressure along the way. During the process my kids called him our life coach. We now call him our friend. If you are giving a choice, this is the only guy I’d recommend to find you the home you want and desire in the Fort Myers area.
We moved from out of state so there was a lot of extra things put on Eric to handle for us. He even FaceTimed me from the house so I could review what all was still there since it was a furnished home. The coordination of the sell of our home and it’s domino affect on our purchase presented some challenges. The agent managing the sell of our home and our buyers agent were both pretty new. Eric used his experience and expertise to help guide them in making a smooth transition for everyone. I used to be in real estate and know the difference between an “okay” realtor vs a “great” one. In my opinion Eric was exceptional. I appreciate all his hard work and calm demeanor in a very stressful process.
