This was hands down the best selling experience I have ever experienced with complete credit going to Emmett! He operates at another level apart from other agents. I appreciated the immediate transparency as a first-time homebuyer. He seems to have a solid understanding of the market where I was looking and talked strategically and from experience about whether and how to make offers. Emmett was communicative with plenty of notice about when he was and wasn't available and gave me a contact to work with during the time he was away—and when we hit snags in negotiation, he went above and beyond to be available. Even after the sale, he's remained a trusted and generous resource.

Emmett was great, he listened to what we were looking for and gave us some real information to consider for each house we looked at. Where do I start?! Emmett was amazing to work with. He made sure he knew exactly what we wanted (and didn't want!) and kept that front and center. When we found houses we thought we loved, he reminded us of our priorities and guided us away from decisions we would have regretted. He handled our barrage of communications with grace and patience. I have anxiety and he was always supportive and helpful. He was right when he said we'd find the perfect house. I wasn't even going to look at it but he convinced me to. We met with the seller's agent on a private showing that Emmett arranged. The seller's agent actually thanked him for being so professional and pleasant. The seller and his mother both said if either of them bought again, they'd hire Emmett. Once we found the house, Emmett worked tirelessly to gather information and crafted literally the PERFECT offer that got us accepted within hours. We were extremely fair and they really wanted to be done with the sale process. They said they wanted a good offer with good people. Emmett made that happen. He stayed with us every step of the way right thru move-in, answering questions, getting info, providing recommendations (inspectors, etc.) Oh, and he recommended the full mold testing, which was a good thing because there was mold. He worked with any and all vendors he could. There were actually several times when Emmett taught some old dogs some new tricks. He has a way of knowing just the right way to handle everything and everyone. Several people have asked us how we got our perfect home during that market at the time. Every time we say the same thing, "Our realtor: Emmett Teter." What's funny is that many of those people confessed that they're using a family member who is a realtor and they've been looking for months (or longer) and can't get it done. My recommendation? Hire Emmett Teter (whether you're buying or selling, he sold our previous home). That is one decision, you will NOT regret!
