Excellent, hard-driven Buyer Broker who looks out for you.
We met Emily by chance while touring a model home. My wife started a conversation with her and we had a good vibe on how nice she was. I looked around the house while the continued talking. While getting into our car, my wife mentioned Emily was an agent. Since there was already a good feeling about her I approached her as she left the model home and after some discussion, we asked if she would be open to discussing being our buyer broker. Emily accepted and boy was our hunch right.
Emily immediately provided several houses that we checked out and made offers on (got beat out). Just as we were reserved to maybe giving up, she and my wife found a property. It was perfect for our needs. The rest of the offer went normal until the seller and their realtor were trying to back out of re-roofing and painting the house. Emily was diligent firm and professional in her working with the other realtor's upper management (or get disbarred) to honor that work as they had promised (and the reason for our offer on the house). We delayed the closing and the seller & realtor conceded to Emily since she was legally correct.
If it hadn't been for having Emily on our side and her tenacious due diligence and knowledge of laws, procedure and just plain ethical requirements, we probably would have not got the new roof or painting completed. The bonus is she lives in the neighborhood and is such a nice, pleasant person to be in contact with.
In this market, you need a good buyer broker realtor in your corner to protect and work for your best interest. Emily is that outstanding individual. Please don't hesitate to sign her as your agent. I certainly will when I go to sell this house and buy my next one for retirement.
