As a buyer in today’s market, we not only faced the challenges of numerous highly competitive offerings, but also of being almost 500 miles away from where we were searching. My husband and I found Ellen and Todd Pool via a Facebook Group, Californians Moving to Texas. We were still residing in California and in the process of selling our home and paying off bills we had accumulated over the years. Finally...we made it to Houston!!! From South Africa..to Canada..to Texas, at last it feels like home! I would like to encourage anyone who is terrified to take the plunge, to do your research, talk to Ellen a LOT and to just do it!! Our plan was to rent first, but we saw a great listing online and Ellen Pool helped us to secure the property. We bought a house virtually😱 and moved here without ever being to Texas! The people here are so friendly and generous, everyone made us feel welcome from day 1. The kids love their new schools and friends which is amazing. Todd and Ellen are phenomenal..as people.. but also at what they do. We wouldn't have survived this without them. They looked out for us and guided us in many ways, even way beyond what is expected of them. They know their stuff people!!! We are so blessed to be where God has called us to be!

Ellen and her entire team are so wonderful to work with and held our hand through the process of moving from CA to TX. New construction purchase became much more challenging than I had expected but Ellen and her team were there with the knowledge and experience every step to make sure our best interests were represented. My family feels blessed to have worked with her as we found our new home in Texas. Can’t recommend her enough.

At first we didn't think we'd need a realtor for a new build. If there is anyone else out there thinking the same thing, please reconsider! Having someone help us to navigate this was the right decision for us. There were plenty of days that we were convinced that this house would just not be ours. Between building delays to challenges with our initial lender. If it weren't for Ellen, Todd and our final lender, I don't know what we would have done. I can not thank our team enough for really helping us through this journey and advocating for us every step of the way. We are finally home!
