Buying with the Pools was an excellent experience! As a fist time buyer I had no idea what I was doing but Ellen walked me through every step and explained what was going on. Ellen took time to know what I wanted and then helped guide me on how to search for homes. She took lists of homes that I sent her and quickly responded back with feedback on these homes and neighborhoods. She found times that worked for my crazy schedule to go look at homes. Todd came during the inspection snd explained the report. During the final walk through, on the day before closing, the seller began to get aggressive but Todd stepped in to make sure I was safe. As a buyer in today’s market, we not only faced the challenges of numerous highly competitive offerings, but also of being almost 500 miles away from where we were searching. After many flights into Texas, extended stays, and too many miles driven across Sienna, Houston, Tomball, Magnolia, The Woodlands, and everything in between; after several realtors and making offer after offer that went unaccepted even at $20K above asking; after upwards of $30K of extra expenses including an early lease termination; after all that (and more) — we were so very blessed to be connected to Ellen and Todd Pool of Pool Realty. My husband and I found Ellen and Todd Pool via a Facebook Group, Californians Moving to Texas. We were still residing in California and in the process of selling our home and paying off bills we had accumulated over the years. Once we sold the house and were actively looking for a home, we were in communication with Ellen and found a few homes and although a few offers were made, our offers were not accepted. We knew that the right home was waiting for us, in God’s time, not ours. At the end of March, my husband found the home we would eventually move into. Ellen, who appeared to be available at all hours of the day, including weekends, hooked us up with a Texas financing company and the rest is history. She was always positive, kind, and worked extra hard to get us financing when our original financing fell through hours before the earnest money would be lost. Talk about stress!!! Ellen came through once again, and Movement Mortgage/ The Tyroch Team closed on our loan mid-May 2021. We were thrilled with Ellen’s responsiveness, professionalism, and kindness. We communicated via Facebook Messenger, text, and the occasional phone call. Todd, Ellen’s husband, went to the home inspection with the appraiser and reviewed the appraisal with me page by page. He answered all our questions. He also showed us the house via FaceTime at the final walk through right before closing. We have only positive things to say about Ellen and Todd. They are experienced, professional, kind, and overall good people. I highly recommend them. I could not ask for a better team to work with in getting our dream home.

Ellen helped us find our dream home. We were living in another state, and everything had to be done remotely. Ellen made this process as smooth as possible.
