Elias was born and raised in Portland, Maine. He is president and co-owner, with his wife Jane, of EXIT Key Real Estate, Inc., in Shapleigh, Maine. Elias 2018 President of the York County Council of Realtors, the Maine Association of Realtors, the National Board of Realtors and holds the GRI Realtor designation. Elias was also honored to be named 2016 REALTOR OF THE YEAR in York County, Maine
"It's all about giving back - to the communities in which we live, as well as to the communities we may never see, but which need our support." This has been Elias' creed for most of his life, and most especially during his time as a member of Rotary. During his year as District Governor, Elias led the effort to raise awareness about homelessness throughout the district, and helped raise tens of thousands of dollars to support the homeless, the poor and the hungry. He has been recognized locally, as well as internationally, for his charitable work and his participation in Rotary's worldwide project of polio eradication.
